Getting organised for the changes ahead

 Hi,

I have been busy these past few weeks.  I have tweaked a few things and generally getting organised to run online shops/business’s.

I thought I'd widen my online presence.  I have a hardly used Instagram account... and Twitter, I just can't get the hang of that one.  I have a JJD Facebook account, and with some technical help, if you hadn't noticed I have changed the look of my JuneJacksonDesigns blog too.

Pinterest....Who loves Pinterest?  I love... Pinterest.  I have more private boards on Pinterest than ones made public.  Last time I checked I had over 4051 pins, I don't seem to be able to get that figure now.  But I’ve just learnt it’s best to have multiple accounts if you are using your account for business.  Have I got my work cut out for me, with having two online shops.  Why not now head on over to my shehashazeleyes Pinterest account while I build up my JuneJacksonDesigns account.  There is a link on the right just  there!

Stampin’ Up! cards available for sale in my Folksy shop

I have loads of cards to share with you but I’ll keep it to just three cards today.

About a year ago I started to buy Stampin’ Up! supplies, and boy am I hooked.

Here is a small sample of some cards I have listed in my Folksy shop.

The popular Forever Fern cling stamp set and Forever Flourishing Dies were used to make this die cut card along with a greeting from another stamp set. The paper is the DSP that went with the suite (no longer for sale).

The butterfly card above is blank, for words of your own choice, making it a great stand by card for loads of occasions. The Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-Bration A Touch of Ink stamp set was used to make this card.  It was again such a peaceful process.

The Ornate Garden Suite was used for the Best Wishes card above, and again the greeting is from another stamp set but the Stampin’ Up! range are all inter usable.

I hope you like my selected cards above. Details of how I make my cards will follow, at a later date.

Things change, and taking it slower but loads to do to at the start

I’ve decided to take things easy as I restart this journey.  I’m going to keep it as simple as I can given all the suggested social media presence suggested for online shops today.  A simple blog, Instagram, perhaps Facebook and Twitter, and Pinterest, which I love. My other favourite is YouTube but hey, I’m busy with the others at the moment.

My old blog, this one, looks more suitable for my needs, although I’ve never posted anything here before.  You’re  here today but please come back again….I’ve made some plans…and I’ve loads of cards to share with you.

In the meanwhile why not visit and follow my social media and wait for feeds to update as I add content. I’d love to share my card ideas with you.

My handmade greetings cards are currently listed on Folksy.com, and Etsy…we’ll I’m considering reopening that shop.

This hand stamped floral greetings card is made using the Stampin' Up! 'Lovely You' stamp set and has the greeting 'Thinking of You' and is embellished with three diamanté’s .
I’m busy today, changing the watermarks on my card photos, but I’ll be back soon with my thoughts on my card making life.
In the meanwhile not head over to my Folksy shop to see what I currently have for sale.
